Life Skills & Hostel Life

At Bhagat Puran Singh School for the Deaf, Manawala, education is designed to be holistic and practical. We ensure that our students not only gain academic knowledge but also learn important life skills that prepare them for independent living. Vocational training is integrated into the curriculum, allowing students to explore and develop real-world capabilities like sewing, woodwork, electrical repair, and sign language communication. This approach fosters self-reliance, confidence, and a clear sense of purpose in our students' lives.

In addition to academics and vocational training, the school provides hostel facilities for over 135 students. Separate hostels for boys and girls ensure safety and comfort. Hostel life is structured to promote discipline, community living, and emotional well-being. With dedicated hostel staff, evening study support, and a nurturing environment, students learn essential values like responsibility, teamwork, and personal care—turning their school years into a memorable and empowering experience.
